Ladies
So you’ve ordered all the latest summer clothes from pretty little thing but do you really need it all? When it came to packing I had over thought about what I needed and had to get rid of a few items that didn’t fit.
T-shirt | x2 | I only really wore these for temples to cover the shoulders up |
Vests | x7 | They are small and pack really lightly |
T shirt dress | x2 | I find these so comfy for long travelling |
Shorts/Skirts | x5 | Mostly cotton shorts as denim is quite heavy |
Dresses/play suits | x5 | I probably went overboard but they are all light weight |
Sarong/culottesSomething to wear when entering temples |
Warm trousers/leggings | x2 | Always good to have |
Jacket/jumper | x1 | A bulky item but you may need it if the weather turns cool |
Rain coat | This is a must particularly in humid climates, invest in a good quality lightweight coat |
Shoes | x4 | Flip Flops | Trainers | Birkenstock’s | Nice Sandals |
Pants | x7-10 | All depends on how much you can get your washing done |
Bras | x4 | Definitely pack a sports bra |
Socks | Depends how often you think you will wear them |
Swimwear | x4 | If your like me and you spend a lot of time at the beach |
I found that I probably had packed too much and have condensed this list down from my own packing, go with whatever you feel comfortable with and don’t forget your going to have to carry it. Also try and pack darker clothes as they look less dirty.
Gents
Most of you just throw in 1 top, 1 pair of trousers and 1 pairs of pants right? You may need a little bit more than that if your planning on travelling the world.
T-shirt’s | x7 | Thin football or sports shirts are great for the hot weather |
Vests |x2 | If your into that sort of thing |
Shorts | x4 | Sports shorts or thin jogger material are your best bet |
Trousers | x2 | Jogger bottoms will pack light but it depends on if you want to take jeans
Jumper | x1 | Bulky item that will take up a lot of room |
Rain coat | Absolute must when travelling in humid climates |
Shoes | x4 | 2 Trainers or Walking Shoes | Flip Flops | Sliders |
Pants | x7-10 | All depends on how much you will get your washing done
Socks | Again depends on you as a person and how much you wear them |
Swimwear | x4 | if you love the beach
If your anything like josh and love football you will probably end up buying different teams shirt along there way, let’s face it there cheap enough.
Please note: our guide is from our own experience of travelling around Asia where the climate is much warmer, if you are visiting a cooler destinations swap a couple of shorts/tops out for trousers and jumpers.
